This week B'Rock debuts at the Romaeuropafestival in Italy with the music-theatre performance Where is my Soul?. More performances will follow later in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Zwolle and Bruges.

Claudio Monteverdi composed -apart from his religious music- a number of madrigals, compositions in which he searches for human feelings. In these madrigals text and music seem inseparably connected and Monteverdi's interpretation of the text becomes clear because of musical interventions. But are these madrigals really so unambiguous?

Around Monteverdi's madrigals core themes (Love, power & death) flemish director Caroline Petrick creates a contemporary music scene in which dynamic, photo and text projections shed new light on Monteverdi's music.
