Jonathan Berman is an award-winning young English conductor who lives between Amsterdam and London, and already has an impressive repertory of operatic, orchestral, and contemporary music. He has an international reputation working in Germany, UK, US, Italy, the Netherlands and has been broadcast and appeared numerous times on radio and television.
Jonathan is much sought after in repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary. Meet the Maestro

Jonathan has performed an extensive range of music spanning over 300 years up to the present day, including many world premieres. He is equally at home in the symphonic as well as in the operatic world and has conducted over 30 operas in Italy, Netherlands, U.K. and the US. His exceptional musicianship and intellectual approach to the score come to shine especially in the Austro-Hungarian repertoire of the 19th century and the contemporary music, which he performed with international orchestras and ensembles such as London Philharmonic Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Modern and London Sinfonietta.
