Having just recorded the Elgar and Miaskovsky concertos with the Philharmonia following the success of the Saint-Saëns concerti recording, Jamie Walton and duo partner Daniel Grimwood return to Wigmore Hall. They will champion two passionate works seldom performed, the Saint-Saëns and Grieg sonatas. With the recent acquisition of a Guarneri cello and Grimwood's virtuosic prowess this promises to be a powerful experience.
